"The rocking chair is an emblematic piece of my youth. It was evident that I had to design one, following my aesthetics. Always on the principle of rewriting the object, I chose the continuous calligraphic line and a curved form to achieve a black ribbon."

Plan 2D

This rocking chair is constructed using a manufacturing process protected by 2 French patents, creating hollow parts with a unique process reinforced by shear cores for a perfect load distribution. This exclusive and versatile process allows for the production of structural parts without any limitations on the geometry of the form. The hollow parts are lighter and require less carbon, which is a costly material. The one-step construction optimizes the strength of the parts and significantly improves the aesthetic appearance. It also eliminates the need for machining after molding, thereby reducing carbon dust generated by traditional methods.
